The Grand Central Hotel in Belfast has unveiled a new luxury dining space called The Cavern, designed to offer a one-of-a-kind private experience for guests seeking refined, intimate hospitality.
Discreetly tucked behind a sliding piece of artwork on the hotel’s first floor, The Cavern is a secret 12-seat venue crafted for high-end celebrations, exclusive business dinners, and special gatherings. The £150,000 project was led by Executive Head Chef Damian Tumilty, a respected figure in Northern Ireland’s food scene.

At the center of The Cavern is its food. Guests collaborate directly with Chef Tumilty to create a personalized seven-course tasting menu. Dishes feature some of Ireland’s finest ingredients, including Kingsbury Wagyu beef, Carlingford oysters, and Ballycastle lobster. The pastry team also showcases rare, delicate desserts not commonly seen on local menus.
