Radisson Hotel Group has proudly announced that two of its properties—located in Oslo and Manchester—have become the first hotels to achieve Verified Net Zero status, meeting the Net Zero Methodology for Hotels’ 2040 requirements today.
These hotels are actively eliminating Scope 1 and 2 emissions, significantly reducing Scope 3 emissions in alignment with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, and offsetting any remaining carbon footprint through Nature-Based Solutions. This achievement is independently verified by TÜV Rheinland, ensuring transparency and credibility.
The Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Centre completed its transformation into the Verified Net Zero Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre on May 19, 2025. Similarly, the Park Inn by Radisson Oslo City Centre will reopen as Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, a Verified Net Zero Hotel, at the beginning of July 2025.
By launching these two Verified Net Zero hotels, Radisson Hotel Group is leading the way in sustainable hospitality and setting a gold standard for the industry.
