DoubleTree by Hilton is celebrating two big milestones. The brand has opened its 700th hotel and now operates in 60 countries and territories.
In the past year, DoubleTree added more than 40 new hotels to its growing portfolio. This includes Hilton’s first hotel in Nice, France, and new properties in Laos and the Azores Islands. DoubleTree also opened its first hotel in Malta. These new locations bring DoubleTree’s global reach to 60 countries, a huge jump since 2008 when the brand first expanded outside the Americas.
Vincent Ong, Hilton’s vice president of brand management for full-service hotels in Asia Pacific, said, “Reaching 700 properties shows how popular DoubleTree is with both guests and hotel owners. We look forward to welcoming more guests with our signature warm chocolate chip cookie and offering comfortable rooms and thoughtful amenities that ensure a great stay.”
