Choice Hotels International is making a big move into China. The company signed a long-term distribution and master franchise agreement with SSAW Hotels & Resorts.
This deal adds 68 upscale hotels with more than 9,500 rooms to Choice’s Ascend Collection. SSAW also gains exclusive rights to develop Choice’s Comfort and Quality brands across China as the master franchisee.
With this partnership, Choice Hotels strengthens its reach in important Chinese cities and taps into one of the fastest-growing markets in Asia-Pacific. SSAW’s well-known brands, including Pagoda, Narada Grand, SSAW Boutique, and Ginlan Jia, will join the Ascend Collection. These new hotels will be available for booking within three months.
Guests staying at these hotels can expect spacious, well-designed rooms with rainforest showers and free Wi-Fi. Rooms also include minibars and tea or coffee facilities. Hotels offer great amenities such as onsite restaurants, concierge services, 24-hour front desks, business centers, and fitness facilities. These features cater to both business and leisure travelers.
