ITC Hotels has revealed plans to build a new hotel in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with an estimated investment of ₹328 crore. This will be the company’s first fully owned hotel in the coastal city, marking a major expansion of its presence in the region.
The upcoming hotel will feature 200 rooms, significantly boosting Vishakhapatnam’s hospitality offerings. Construction is expected to be completed by 2029, timed to match the city’s increasing popularity as a destination for both tourism and business.
Currently, ITC Hotels operates two properties in Vishakhapatnam under management contracts: the 104-room Welcomhotel Devee Grand Bay and the 68-room Fortune Inn Sree Kanya, the latter managed via a wholly-owned subsidiary. This new project, however, will be a fully owned venture, strengthening ITC’s long-term commitment to the city’s hospitality sector.
