ITC Hotels is continuing its expansion following its demerger from ITC Limited. The hotel chain, one of the largest in India, has signed an agreement for a new property in the hill station of Siliguri, West Bengal. Located at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, Siliguri is known for its scenic beauty and is a popular destination for travelers.
The new hotel, named Mementos by ITC Hotels Siliguri, is part of ITC Hotels’ latest luxury brand, Mementos. The brand’s entry into eastern India marks an important step in ITC Hotels’ growth. The management agreement was signed on May 13, 2025.
Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels, stated that the signing of the agreement reflects the increasing demand for unique and immersive travel experiences in India, especially as domestic tourism rises. “This new project will redefine hospitality in the region, particularly in the wedding segment,” Chadha said.
With this addition, ITC Hotels now operates six properties in West Bengal, with six more under development. The company’s hotels in the state will collectively offer over 1,540 rooms across 12 locations.
