Marina Bay Sands in Singapore has successfully completed the renovation of its hotel room inventory, marking a significant milestone in its US$1.75 billion (58.30 billion baht) transformation of the iconic resort.
The renovation includes a major expansion of the resort’s suite offerings. Marina Bay Sands now boasts a total of 1,850 hotel rooms, with 775 suites—up from just 180 previously. This expansion comes as part of the resort’s broader vision, with plans to add an additional 570 suites in the coming years as part of an ambitious US$8 billion (266.53 billion baht) expansion project, which includes building a fourth hotel tower.
One of the key elements of the transformation is the full refresh of the Sands Collection, one of two hotel collections introduced as part of the resort’s overhaul. The Sands Collection now offers 1,480 rooms and suites, catering to a variety of guest preferences. It includes a range of accommodations from the stylish Sands Premier Room to the family-oriented Sands Family Suite.
The remaining 370 suites belong to the ultra-luxurious Paiza Collection, which offers the highest standard of accommodation. Notable among them is the extravagant Chairman Suite, featuring three to four bedrooms, a 146-inch television, karaoke facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen.
