Accor is set to expand its regional presence with a new strategic partnership with Bayview International Hotels & Resorts, a company with a legacy dating back to 1993. This collaboration combines Bayview’s established local presence with Accor’s global expertise and scale.
Starting in May, Accor will take over the management of three existing properties: The Sydney Boulevard Hotel in East Sydney, Bayview Geographe Resort in Busselton, Western Australia, and Wairakei Resort Taupo in New Zealand’s North Island. As part of the partnership, Accor plans to refurbish and rebrand all three properties, though they will continue to operate under their current names until the renovations are complete.
The Sydney Boulevard Hotel features 277 rooms, seven suites, 11 meeting spaces, a ballroom, a restaurant, a café, and a top-floor meeting room offering views of the Sydney CBD and Harbour.
Bayview Geographe Resort, located in Busselton—three hours south of Perth—boasts 137 rooms and villas, an indoor heated pool, tennis court, golf putting green, and direct beach access.
Wairakei Resort Taupo, situated near Lake Taupo in a geothermal area, includes 187 rooms, a nine-hole golf course, a geothermal swimming pool, a day spa, dining options, and conference facilities.
Adrian Williams, Accor’s Chief Operating Officer for the Pacific, expressed excitement about the new properties: “These three hotels are beloved by both locals and visitors. We’re excited to integrate them into the Accor family and elevate the guest experience through our powerful brands, the ALL loyalty program, and our world-class service.”
