RIYAZ International Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian hospitality and lifestyle group, has entered into a groundbreaking partnership with Jin Jiang Hotels China Region (Jin Jiang Hotels), the world’s second-largest hotel group, to establish a new joint venture, RJJ Hotels Sdn. Bhd. (RJJ Hotels). The partnership was formalized with the signing of the first Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) on May 3, 2025, for a property in Luang Prabang, Laos. This marks RJJ Hotels’ first Southeast Asian venture.
Key figures in the signing ceremony included Yap Lip Seng, CEO of RJJ Hotels Sdn. Bhd., Liu Hegeng, General Manager of the Hotel Department at Sanher Investment & Development Co., Ltd., Zhou Ying, Director at Sanher Investment & Development Co., Ltd., Amin Sidek, Executive Director of RJJ Hotels Sdn. Bhd., Dato’ Seri Shaheen Shah, Managing Director of RIYAZ International Sdn. Bhd., and Ng Kok Ming, Director of NOVAC Hospitality Sdn. Bhd.
As part of the agreement, RJJ Hotels has been granted the rights to manage and expand five prestigious hotel brands under Jin Jiang Hotels across Southeast Asia. The joint venture aims to sign 181 hotel management agreements and operate 108 hotels over the next five years in key markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Laos.
