Choice Hotels International has signed a long-term distribution and master franchise agreement with SSAW Hotels and Resorts, a leading hospitality company in China. This deal lays the groundwork for Choice Hotels’ major growth in the Chinese market.
SSAW, based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is known for its upscale business hotels, resorts, and stylish boutique and lifestyle hotels.
Under the agreement, 68 upscale properties managed by SSAW—featuring brands like Pagoda, Narada Grand, SSAW Boutique, and Ginlan Jia—will join Choice Hotels’ upscale soft brand, the Ascend Collection.
